Jake sat down with Ray Comfort, infamous moustachioed banana loving creationist, on his latest propaganda movie, on society, fornication, idolatry, and everything else in between. He also has a message for those attending The Global Atheist Convention 2012.

Hi Jake,
I really enjoy your podcast. I do wonder why you bother with Ray Comfort. He is so uninteresting. He doesn’t deserve the time on your podcast. WE all know what he says and it never buries.
A more effective answer to Ray Comfort and his carrying on about “believing” evolution would be to say you don’t believe. Scientific theories are not things to believe in. It is something we accept until a better explanation is worked out.
He mentions everything “beautiful” in the end, bringing up flowers, and changing seasons and your daughters eyes. Why did he fail to mention the “beauty” of starvation, disease, hate, etc.? Of course we think we are beautiful, we think things that we know and like are beautiful, but from an outsider’s perspective we are weird, we are weird, ugly, troubled creatures. An intelligent life form from another galaxy would agree that we live our lives non beautifully, beauty is just another relative term, not proof of some creater.
I felt like gorilla in a bird cage listening to the interview… again he is a good person, but why do we have to be so special? Why do we have to think that we know where we come from, or that a Gob would waste his time with what would be less interesting to him than a worm farm to us? All powerful, all knowing, all-everything Gob why did you do things the hard way? Just make us what you want us to be… I’m not playing the game, if you’re out there and you don’t like how YOU created me, then change me. I’ll try not to mistake it for free will.
Jake I was waiting for you to explain an agnostic as someone who doesn’t find it necessary (or possible) to know if Gob exixts, and therefor does not attempt to. There are more important things in our short time on this pretty ball to worry about.
I love how most of his proof is the bible. Where is his proof that the bible is the “word of god” instead of the written oral tradition of a nomadic tribe in the middle east? He says the bible is true and god exists. It is his responsibility to prove those contentions, not ours to prove them wrong.
Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The
text in your article seem to be running off the screen in
Internet explorer. I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know.
The layout look great though! Hope you get the issue solved soon.
Kudos
